Dow University of Health Sciences is one of the leading universities in the field of medicine in Pakistan. The Dow University of Health Sciences bill was passed on 26th of April 2004 by the Provincial Assembly of Sindh. It was granted certificate of accreditation by the Higher Education Commission on April 5th 2004. Thereby becoming a chartered university establish under Sindh Govt. ordinance number VI of 2003 in the public sector. Degree diploma certificates awarded by the university are validated and recognized by the Higher Education Commission Govt. of Pakistan. the constituent colleges of Dow University of Health Sciences are Dow Medical College, Sindh Medical College and OJHA Institute of Chest Diseases. |
